Amolops kangtingensis

Amolops kangtingensis, the Kangding sucker frog, is no longer treated as a valid species. A 2017 study in Zoological Research found that frogs previously identified under this name belong to the Sichuan torrent frog, Amolops mantzorum, which occurs in Gansu, Sichuan and Yunnan, and described a new species, Amolops xinduqiao, from Xinduqiao near Kangding, Sichuan, at about 3,400 m.
