Anhui Musk-deer

The Anhui musk deer is a geographically restricted musk deer native to the Dabie Mountains of western Anhui, China. It has at times been treated as a population or subspecies of the forest musk deer, but the Mammal Diversity Database recognizes Moschus anhuiensis as a distinct species. Available opened accounts provide little species-specific information beyond its taxonomy and narrow mountain distribution, so measurements, diet, reproduction and detailed behavior are omitted rather than inferred from other musk deer.
