Indian subcontinent: India, Tibet, Bangladesh, Bhutan and Nepal
The chestnut-bellied nuthatch is found in the Indian subcontinent, in India, Tibet, Bangladesh, Bhutan and Nepal. It is very similar to the Burmese nuthatch but has a heavier bill and the crown and mantle in the same shade, with contrasting wing and tail markings (Wikipedia, general species account).
