The Chinese pygmy weasel, also called the missing-toothed pygmy weasel or Sichuan weasel, is a small weasel that inhabits mountains in the Shaanxi and Sichuan provinces of China. Its external features are very similar to those of the least weasel, but the tail is very long, exceeding one third of the length of the head and body. The tail measures 5.0–6.2cm, about 40% of the body length (Wikipedia, general species account).
In summer the fur of the back, tail and head is dark brown, and there are no dark markings on the face or head (Wikipedia, general species account).
