The crow-billed drongo is a jet-black bird with a stout bill and a shallowly forked tail, similar in appearance to the black drongo. It is native to moist tropical forests of south-eastern Asia, ranging from India to the Philippines and Indonesia, and including China (Wikipedia, general species account).
It breeds between April and June, with a small cup of grass held together by cobwebs built in the fork of a slender branch by both birds, and the female incubates the eggs (Wikipedia, general species account).
