McCord's box turtle is a semi-aquatic turtle native to Guangxi in southern China. The carapace typically ranges from dark brown to chestnut and the plastron is yellow, often marked with darker patterns; the head is typically yellow with darker stripes along the sides of the face and neck (Wikipedia, general species account).
Its diet includes small aquatic organisms and invertebrates as well as plant material, and it is observed to be nocturnal and crepuscular, burrowing into the ground or hiding under leaves by day. Mating is typically in March, with up to seven eggs per clutch about 60 days later; successful clutches incubate for up to 90 days (The Reptile Database; Wikipedia, general species account).
