Dendrelaphis hollinrakei

Hollinrake's Bronzeback is a slender colubrid known only from Shek Kwu Chau, an island near Hong Kong. It has 15 rows of dorsal scales at midbody, 171 ventral scales and 130 subcaudal scales. The species is active during daylight and lives entirely in vegetation rather than on the ground. It reproduces by laying eggs. The name honours Barrie Hollinrake, who collected the type specimen while administering the island. (Wikipedia, general species account)
