Hemiphyllodactylus jinghongensis

The Jinghong Slender Gecko is a recently described Hemiphyllodactylus known only from its type locality in Mengsong Village, Jinghong, Yunnan. It was identified through combined morphological and genetic analysis of Yunnan's karst-dwelling slender geckos. The same research found several independently evolving lineages within a geographically complex karst landscape.
