Hodgson's Frogmouth

Hodgson's frogmouth has a large head, broad bill and large rounded yellow eyes adapted for seeing under dark nighttime conditions. Its wings and tail are short and rounded, corresponding with a localized way of life. Because its plumage differs only subtly from related frogmouths, its call is considered the most useful identification feature. (Wikipedia, general species account)
