Parus minor
Range
West, South and South-east Asia; treated with the cinereous tit
The Japanese tit was formerly treated as a separate species but is now grouped with the cinereous or Asian tit (Parus cinereus), a bird of the tit family made up of several populations earlier treated as subspecies of the great tit. Its birds are grey-backed with white undersides, whereas the great tit in the new sense has a greenish back and yellowish underside. The cinereous tit's distribution extends from parts of West Asia across South Asia into South-east Asia. (Wikipedia, general species account)
