The lesser bamboo bat is a tiny, flattened bat with adhesive pads on its thumbs and feet. These features allow it to enter through narrow beetle-made openings and cling inside hollow bamboo internodes. It occurs in southern China and Southeast Asia. Small flies, moths and other aerial insects are captured during agile nocturnal flights around bamboo and neighbouring vegetation. (Wikipedia, general species account)
