Occidozyga lingnanica

The Lingnan floating frog (Occidozyga lingnanica) was described in 2022 in Vertebrate Zoology from a population previously recorded as Occidozyga martensii. The holotype is from Mt Wugongling, Shenzhen, Guangdong, and other specimens came from Qi'ao Island in Zhuhai, Mt Yunkai in Xinyi and Mt Jiaoyiling in Zhanjiang. The species also occurs in Hainan and in northern Vietnam. (open-access original description and web summaries)
