The pin-striped tit-babbler, also known as the yellow-breasted babbler, is an Old World babbler widely distributed in South and South-east Asia, including China, with a distinctive yellowish supercilium and rufous crown. It has disjunct populations in southern India (Wikipedia, general species account).
It forages in small flocks, creeping and clambering in low vegetation, and gives a loud repeated 'chonk' call somewhat like a common tailorbird's. It breeds in the pre-monsoon season from February to July and builds a loose ball-shaped nest of grasses (Wikipedia, general species account).
