Radde's warbler is a leaf warbler that breeds in southern central and eastern Siberia as far east as Korea and Manchuria. The adult has an unstreaked brown back and buff underparts with a very long, prominent whitish supercilium, and a pointed bill thicker than the similar dusky warbler's. The legs are paler and the feet look large, reflecting its more terrestrial lifestyle (Wikipedia, general species account).
It is strongly migratory and winters in South-east Asia, and is prone to vagrancy as far as western Europe in October. The nest is built low in a bush with about five eggs, and the call is a soft 'chick' (Wikipedia, general species account).
