Rufous Tube-nosed Bat

The rufous tube-nosed bat, also called the greater tube-nosed bat, has a body length of 4.2–5.7cm, a tail of 3.6–4.1cm and a wing length of 3.7–4.4cm. The general species account places it in India, Mongolia, China and Korea (Wikipedia, general species account).

Its call has twelve simple syllables and five composites with harmonics in the ultrasonic range. When giving aggression calls it bares its teeth, pulls up its wings and attacks other individuals by biting, and males show stereotyped mating behaviour of shaking their bodies and licking their genitalia (Wikipedia, general species account).
