Southern Nutcracker

The southern nutcracker is a crow-family bird about 33cm long, similar in size to the northern nutcracker. It has a black tail with white outer corners and a stout black bill and legs. It was formerly considered the same species as the northern and Kashmir nutcrackers under the English name 'spotted nutcracker' (Wikipedia, general species account).
