Striated Grassbird

The striated grassbird is a grassland warbler found across a broad Asian range that includes China, India, Bangladesh, mainland Southeast Asia, Indonesia and the Philippines. Unlike many secretive grassbirds, it is noisy and conspicuous, regularly perching in exposed positions on grass tops, bushes and telephone wires while calling. The streaked crown and streaking across the upper breast are useful identification features. It is now the sole species retained in the genus Megalurus. (Wikipedia, general species account)
