Savi's warbler is an Old World warbler about 14cm long that breeds in Europe and the western Palearctic. Young birds are yellower below (Wikipedia, general species account).

It is migratory, wintering in northern and sub-Saharan Africa. Three to six eggs are laid in a nest in reeds. The song is a monotonous, mechanical, insect-like reeling, faster and deeper than related species and resembling Roesel's bush-cricket.
